The members of the Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers are pleased to share their knowledge and love of dogs by offering training and socializing opportunities to the community. Training will be presented using motivational methods. The training philosophy of the club is to promote responsible dog ownership through education and example. The time that you spend training and socializing your puppy/dog will be paid back every day of your adult dog's life. You will either have "man's" best friend or the nightmare on your block, the choice will be yours.

.
We should have Evaluation forms and Registration forms in the building by this weekend, for your students' use. Please encourage early registration for the Spring session
- this not only avoids the students have to make an extra trip to the building, it gives up an early idea of what classes may fill up early, and fewer people to deal with day of Registration.

Beginning Obedience
Class Information:
Focus will be on training your dog to sit, stay, walk on lead by your side, down, and come when called. This class could lay the ground work for the handler/dog team to continue to train towards obtaining the Companion Dog title through AKC, if desired.
Rally Obedience
Class Information:
Rally is an exciting class that focuses on the pre-basics of obedience, with fun, motivational methods. It can lay the ground work for the handler/dog team to compete in beginning rally at AKC trials. The dog must be able to sit, stay, come when called and walk on a loose lead.
