The purposes of The Coeur d’Alene Dog Fanciers are to further the advancement of all breeds of purebred dogs; to conduct dog shows, obedience trials and sanctioned matches under the rules of the American Kennel Club; to bring together those persons interested in the breeding, exhibiting, care, training, welfare and knowledge of dogs; to further any activities protecting the interests of dogs, dog breeders, and their owners.

Prospective members must attend two meetings for membership to be considered. Please bring this form along with you to your first meeting. A check in the amount of first year’s dues must accompany this application. This application if accepted is subject to approval of the members of the CDADF.
MEMBERSHIP YEARLY DUES: Couple or Household Membership $15.00, Individual Membership $10.00
I, the undersigned in good standing with the American Kennel Club, hereby apply for membership in the Coeur d’Alene Dog Fanciers. I agree to abide by the Constitution and By-Laws, the rules and decisions of the Coeur d’Alene Dog Fanciers, and do hereby release the Club and all persons connected therewith, in any capacity whatsoever, for any and all liability, cost and expense resulting from injury to my person or property, or to the dogs brought by me to any events held or sponsored by this Club. It is understood that wholesale and retail trading in dogs as a business, (aside from those of the member’s own breeding), shall be deemed conduct prejudicial to the best interests of the Club, and are grounds for expulsion. CODE OF CONDUCT
I will encourage high standards of sportsmanship by my behavior and I will not engage in malicious or intentionally misleading or exaggerated statements about other breeders, their dogs, or their breeding practices.
I will help educate the public in the accepted standards of care and breeding practices.
I will maintain high standards in the care of my dogs.
I will not sell any without true and full representation, nor intentionally use misleading or untruthful statements in selling or advertising.
I will not breed dogs for the purpose of donating or selling to commercial dog wholesalers or pet shops.
I understand that indiscriminate breeding may lead to overpopulation and contribute materially to the deterioration of my breed.
